Appauling keying of my vehicle...
Today, I felt wonderful, singing as "Marilyn Monroe" for a terminally ill patient at a local Toronto hospital. His son told me that his father's birthday was coming up in August, but that they did not think he would make it past two weeks, so they wanted to wish him Happy Father's Day by hiring me to sing to him. Paralized, and in palliative care, he managed a smile as best he could. I'll never forget the expression in his eyes as long as I live.

So, let me get this straight, the BIA and taxpayers payed $25,000 to install the mural - to prevent flagging?? And... it gets flagged?
What do you think would work? Could $25,000 have been spent to get the identities of the current flaggers? Could they be held financially responsible? Could their parents?
This solution of Sandra Bussin's to chronic tagging in the area is a joke.

Waterfront Blues - Free Festival on June 6,7,8
Beach locals were treated to a three day blues concert at Woodbine Park on the June 6,7,8th. It was a summer opener, that took the great acts of The Distillery Blues Festival and brought it to the Beach - FREE!

Toronto's beaches now open for Summer!!
Are you ready to go to the beach? Is it hot enough for ya?
Guitarist Michael Freedman played Beach Boys tunes and Rick Smith, Executive Director of Environmental Defense annnounced a hot June 7th weekend (over 20 degrees, plus humidity) and predicted packed beaches across Toronto's waterfront. "Come down for a swim" Smith said.
Blue Flag
The Blue Flag is the internationally recognised symbol of clean beaches, and it was ceremoniously rasied over Woodbine Beach.
